Lake Nakuru National Park, found in the foot of the great rift valley has an elevation of 1754 meters above sea level, is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lake-shores in to a magnificent pink stretch. Masai Mara Game Reserve which is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildbeeste migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Masai mara is the the wonder of the world.

The Serengeti National Park is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds is also impressive. There’s a wide variety of accommodation available, from luxury lodges to mobile camps. The park covers 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km), it’s larger than Connecticut, with at most a couple hundred vehicles driving around. It’s classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife. The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River, and has more forests and dense bush. The north, Lobo area, meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, is the least visited section.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, we have an afternoon game drive in search of this park’s wildlife. This park is one of the most beautiful parks in East Africa, is known for its large population of bird species and as a rhino sanctuary. The black and white rhinos can be found here, and the Rothschild’s giraffe. The park is unique, not only in Kenya but in Africa as well, with the biggest euphorbia forest, yellow acacia woodlands and picturesque landscape. Over 56 species can be found here, including the tree climbing lions, waterbucks, the pink flamingos covering the lake shores, buffalos and more. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp or a similar camp.

Day 02 Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara a 5 Hrs drive, you will pass through Narok town the famous Masai town. you arrive in time for lunch. check in at Ashnil Mara camp or Sarova Mara game Camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and a visit to Mara River. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara camp or Sarova Mara game Camp or a similar camp.

Day 3 Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve

Early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast Full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents, The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end of September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. later Meals and overnight at Sarova Mara game camp or Ashnil Mara camp or Mara Crossing Camp.

Day 4 Masai Mara Game Reserve – Serengeti National Park

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive to track the wildcats as they hunt and kill very early in the morning. If you are lucky you will witness a hunt and a kill. At 0930am we will be back to the camp for full breakfast.

The Kenya guide will transfer you to Isebania where you will meet the Tanzania guide. After Immigration at the border Proceed to Serengeti Seronera camp or a similar camp with a game driver en route.

Day 5 Full Day Serengeti National Park

Leave the camp with picnic lunches and embark on a full day game drive in this savannah grassland park tracking various species of animals. Serengeti is really big and your guide will be helpful in the search for animals. The big five can be seen here and large groups of wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Camp or a similar camp.

Day 6 Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast and final game drive in Serengeti – we will pack and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with lunches enroute. Ngorongoro crater is one of the seven wonders in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Simba camp or a similar camp.

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, leave with packed lunch and descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 6 hours game drive. Ngorongoro Crater has a stunning landscape consisting of the vast expanses of woodlands, savannah forests and highlands. This combined with a high concentration of wildlife, ranging from the endangered rhino species, the big cats, which include the lions, the elusive leopard, cheetahs etc. and others like zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos and the giant African elephants, makes it one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world and giving one of the Tanzania safari experience highlight parks. Later drive back to Arusha, with a drop off at your hotel.
